I started out as a client of BOLD Training in 2013. I was given the opportunity to work with this awesome team early 2014 so not only do I know how fantastic it is to work out here but now I am actually a part of the family, too!
Consistency is key! It is difficult to start something new, especially a lifestyle change. I love helping people on their fitness journey. Everyone is different, spiritually and physically. I do not believe there is a “one size fits all” to physical fitness. I am here to help encourage, challenge and inspire you on your path to change. And YOU will help to do the same thing for me. You will be surprised at how much fun exercise can be. It is so rewarding to help and watch people accomplish their fitness goals.
I have worked with all age groups. I have been a facilitator of group fitness classes and one-on-one training. The objective is safety first so I have continued my education in Pro-active Postural Restructuring to not only help prevent injury but to assist in recovering from an injury/pre-existing condition.
Bachelor’s Degree from Washington State University in Psychology – 2004
Certified Yoga Instructor from Vancouver Yoga Center – 2008
Certified Personal Trainer from NASM – 2016
I love running, weight training and furthering my education in the industry. I enjoy participating and volunteering with event groups such as Get Bold Events. I also like to cook, crochet and watch Netflix to unwind in my downtime. I have a 14 year old pup named Milo who is the best! I take him with me whenever I can so you might just see him around.
Bridge of the Gods 10k in 2016 was my personal record. I ran a 7 minute 45 second mile. I came in 4th over-all female and 1st in my age group.
North County Wine Run Half Marathon in 2016 was my first half marathon. I came in 4th in my age group running an 8 minute 20 second mile.
My goals for 2017 include running my next half marathon on April 9th at Blooms to Brews. I also plan on running the 2017 Bridge of the Gods and the North County Wine Run to beat some personal records I made last year.
